Some of not only the best metabolism foods but also some of the most healthiest foods for you.
Starting with Grapefruit- tons of fiber, and definitely a taste you have to get used to.
Green Tea- helps fight cancer and heart disease, lowering cholesterol, burning fat, preventing diabetes and stroke. Also is LOADED with antioxidants. I am not a fan of green tea, so I make iced lemon green tea, you just have to add organic lemon juice.
Greek Yogurt- Has twice as much protein then normal yogurt, my favorite kind is Fage 0% then add some fruit and of course granola.
Almonds-Tons of vitamins and minerals, protein, fiber and they also have essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. Many people are scared of almonds because of the amount of calories and fat, the fat is monounsaturated fat (good fat, great for your heart), and just eat a handful a day.
Coffee- Who does not love coffee?!?! The benefits of coffee are something to love as well, helps with blood pressure, fight cancer, help with cholesterol, diabetes and Parkinson's Disease only in men.
Apple- cleans teeth while eating, don't peel your apple, the skin contains Pectin which helps remove toxic substances (so make sure you by organic), and provides good vitamins and minerals the body needs.
Broccoli- a super food!!! Helps lower cholesterol, strong impact on our bodies detoxification system, helps with vitamin D deficiency, 1 cup has 135.2% of your daily amount of vitamin C, and 115.5% of vitamin K. Broccoli has anti-inflammatory benefits, antioxidants benefits, decrease risk of colon cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, and ovarian cancer. The list goes on and on, so eat your broccoli.
Oatmeal- If you are not a fan, try Go Lean cereal lots of protein and fiber and will keep you full and satisfied just like oatmeal. Also try to start eating cereal with almond milk, taste really good, less calories and more benefits then Skim milk.
EAT HEALTHY, IT IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR YOURSELF.
